Per-kind split of a session’s stored chat_message bytes, measured with SQLite JSON aggregates over the stored rows (not by deserializing them). The extension keys reported individually are a fixed allowlist — the map’s key set is bounded and stable so consumers can use the keys as metric dimensions; every other key is summed into other. Each figure is the byte length of the value SQLite extracts at that path: for a string value, the decoded UTF-8 text (no quotes or escapes); for an array or object, its minified JSON. So the buckets are approximations of the stored bytes, not exact slices of them, and they add up to somewhat less than payload_bytes (field names, delimiters and escaping are not attributed).
