# prompt.PromptOptions

Options shared by `AcpSession.send`, `stream`, and `postMessage`.

## Properties

**meta** `PromptMeta`

Request-level `_meta`, e.g. `cognition.ai/clientMessageId` for
deduplication or `cognition.ai/chain: "side"` for a sidechain question.

**signal** `AbortSignal`

Cancel the turn (`session/cancel`) as soon as this signal aborts, e.g. a
request's `signal` when the client disconnects. The turn still ends
normally, with the cancelled stop reason. An already aborted signal
throws its reason instead of sending the prompt.
