# StatusEvent

> The session's status changed (a cloud ).

The session's status changed (a cloud `status_update`). This is the push
signal for "Devin is working" / "Devin is waiting on you" / "the session
finished", and it reaches every attached client, not just the one that
started the turn.

## Properties

**finishedOutcome** `undefined | FinishedOutcome` *required*

**Type:** `undefined | FinishedOutcome`

How the session ended, once `status` is terminal.

**inputDisabledReason** `undefined | string` *required*

Why prompts are refused (billing / quota), when they are.

**message** `undefined | string` *required*

Human-readable status line, e.g. "Waiting for your response".

**queuePosition** `undefined | number` *required*

Position in the queue while `queued`.

**reason** `undefined | string` *required*

Structured reason, e.g. `error`, `user_quota_reached`.

**status** `SessionStatus` *required*

**type** `"status"` *required*

**update** `SessionUpdate` *required*

**userActionRequired** `undefined | null | string` *required*

What the agent needs from the user when `blocked`, when the cloud names
it (e.g. "Answer 2 decisions"). `null` means the update carried the key
without a value — common for a plain "Waiting for your response", where
`message` and the last agent message say what to do; `undefined` means the
update did not carry the key at all.
