The agent's `initialize` response (capabilities, auth methods).

**launchSession** `(input: PromptInput, options: LaunchSessionOptions\<O, T\> & \{ turn: RunOptions\<T…` *required*

## Methods

### \[asyncDispose]\()

```typescript
[asyncDispose](): Promise<void>
```

`await using devin = …` closes the client at scope exit, once the connection has shut down.

#### Returns

`Promise<void>`

### attach()

```typescript
attach(sessionId: string, options?: L): Promise<S>
```

Resume an existing session by id, without the replayed transcript.

#### Parameters

**sessionId** `string` *required*

**options** `L`

#### Returns

`Promise<S>`

### close()

```typescript
close(): void
```

Create a new session; the returned session streams turns over ACP.

#### Parameters

**options** `O`

#### Returns

`Promise<S>`

### loadSession()

```typescript
loadSession(sessionId: string, options?: L): Promise<LoadedSession<S>>
```

**sessionId** `string` *required*

**options** `L`

#### Returns

`Promise<LoadedSession<S>>`

### releaseSession()

```typescript
releaseSession(sessionId: string): void
#### Parameters
**sessionId** `string` *required*
