# CognitionAcp.LocalToolsConnectStatus

> Outcome of a [] request.

Outcome of a \[`LOCAL_TOOLS_CONNECT_METHOD`] request.

A refused or failed attempt is a normal response, not a JSON-RPC error,
so the client can render the reason on the approval card.

```typescript
type LocalToolsConnectStatus = "connected" | "authenticationRequired" | "alreadyConnected" | "failed"
```
