# CognitionAcp.BackgroundExecMeta

> Metadata for a background exec tool call.

`requested` distinguishes an explicitly requested background run
(`run_in_background` — the card completes early) from a foreground
command that was implicitly backgrounded (timeout/interrupt — the card
stays live for streamed output). `shell_id` and `command` are present on
both paths when known, so clients can build their background-shell tray
entry from the update alone.
